For my very first guest on Hormonpodden, I invited Dean Henry, someone I first met back in 2022 when my own curiosity about peptides had only just begun.
Dean has spent years working internationally in the peptide space, and in this conversation we look beyond the hype. We talk about purity, third-party testing, COAs, contamination and why two products carrying the same peptide name may not necessarily represent the same quality.
We also discuss the rapidly changing regulatory landscape in Norway, Europe, the US and UAE, the explosion of peptide content on social media, bioregulator peptides, GLP-1s and retatrutide and where Dean believes this field is heading.
Most importantly, we talk about risk, responsibility and education. When does biohacking become too much? What worries him about TikTok protocols and “more is better”? And can stronger regulation sometimes have unintended consequences?
This is not a conversation about what to buy or use. It is a conversation about science, experience, uncertainty and the questions we should be asking as this field evolves.
And yes… if Norway becomes too complicated, Dean has apparently offered me a job in Ibiza.
