The Sydney Swans club has confirmed an 'alleged incident' involving some of the players occurred earlier this week in Melbourne.

Victoria Police have said detectives are investigating a report of a sexual assault at a hotel involving two women.

Australian correspondent Murray Olds says no charges have been made, but concerns have been raised about this incident bringing the game into disrepute.
