New Zealand State of Origin league fans can get the felt pen out and circle Wednesday, June 16 on next year's calendar.

The Australian Rugby League Commission has confirmed Auckland's Eden Park will host Queensland and New South Wales on that date.

A Warriors NRL game will take place at the ground on the Sunday prior.
