It's been a wild couple of weeks for South Korean shares with the stock market collapsing and wiping hundreds of billions of dollars off the value of Seoul's Kospi. The major market index has since recovered a little, but it has big questions about the global tech boom. 

 And the downfall of a high-profile hospitality property group owned by entrepreneur Jon Adgemis is shedding some light onto how private credits firms work in the economy.
