The 2026 World U20 Championships went down in Eugene, Oregon, the 2nd time Hayward Field hosted the meet, with the last time being back in 2014
World U20s gives us a glimpse into the next generation of sprinters from around the world, and this year we saw historic performances including sprint triples, world records, field event drama, and massive upsets.
Not only will most of the top athletes here likely become future medalists at the World Championships and Olympic games, but we may also see some of the athletes who simply made finals go on to have success on the senior level
