The establishment conservative crowd had a recent meltdown over the fact that more and more people on the Right are begging to use the phrase "the common good." Pundits asserted that the phrase is akin to "social justice" and signals a rise in socialist sympathies on the Right. The only problem is that this phrase has been used by figures throughout history like philosophers, theologians, and the founding fathers.
