Colin Hurst: Federated Farmers president on the advocacy group signing open letter to political parties from NZI

51 business leaders from across New Zealand have signed an open letter urging political parties to scrap election promises that impact their interests.

The open letter was organised by the New Zealand Initiative, and it's critical of election policies proposed by National, Labour, the Greens and New Zealand First.

Federated Farmers president Colin Hurst is among the leaders to put his name to the letter and he's voiced opposition to a 'heavy-handed' Government that impacts - or breaks up - businesses. 

"We need certainty as a country. This will affect people and businesses investing in New Zealand."
