Footwear icon Nike has seen shares drop and it's fallen out of the S&P 100, raising concerns about the brand's future.

The sport and athleisure company has seen some challenges, including football star Kylian Mbappé's recent departure from the brand to an industry rival.

Streetwear influencer Adrian Daniel says it's normal for brands to see their days in the sun and then drop off, but Nike's fall is unusual. 

"You kind of wouldn't expect it from a giant like they are."
