Missy and Solomon's late-July Disney World trip mixed a fun split stay at Fort Wilderness and the Grand Floridian, with Fort Wilderness standing out thanks to the cabins, activities, and relaxed atmosphere. Missy's 40th birthday plans were disrupted by crowds, heat, and hotel issues before ending on a high with a spa day and special dinner, though the vacation was cut short when two of their kids got sick and they headed home early.
