The waves lap up against the walls of Dragonstone as Ned Stark disembarks from his boat and approaches the ancient castle. He can feel the Garrison's eyes upon him, some wondering what he’s doing here and others wondering if they can kill or capture him. Ned raises the pole with a white cloak and waves it around, letting his intentions be clear.

A moment later, a figure steps out from the gate.
