On this episode of Sasquatch Theory, I interview Cynthia from Tahlequah in the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. What started as strange owl-like calls echoing through the forest eventually turned into years of terrifying activity surrounding her secluded property. Cynthia describes repeated incidents of rocks being thrown near her chicken coop, a powerful odor unlike anything she had ever smelled, and an overwhelming feeling that something was watching her from the woods.
Friends and visitors experienced similar activity, including another witness who had rocks thrown at him while watching over her property. He also shares his own terrifying Sasquatch encounter from years earlier that forever changed the lives of both him and his girlfriend. As time passed, Cynthia began losing chickens, peacocks, and guinea fowl under mysterious circumstances. Then she discovered something that frightened her more than anything else—large dirt-and-rock mounds mysteriously built inside her chicken coop while she was away at work.
The mounds appeared to have been intentionally constructed, with feathers from her missing birds carefully placed into the packed dirt. Even more puzzling, the dirt and rocks did not originate from the coop or the immediate area. Looking back on her childhood, Cynthia recalls strange experiences involving rocks and corn being thrown at her, hearing heavy breathing outside her home, and sensing an overwhelming dark presence that she never forgot. Could all of these experiences be connected?
