Maybe you’ve been wanting to make progress with your voice… but what you’ve been trying isn’t really working.
I’m usually a big advocate for singing right where you are—around the house, in the car, while doing the dishes. That everyday singing really matters. But sometimes it helps to take just five focused minutes and work on something specific.
That small pocket of time can make a surprising difference.
In this episode, I’m sharing the simple warm-up I used recently when I sang at church after not singing for a while. I used this exercise during the week and right before worship band rehearsal.
The exercise is a series of gentle glides on “ee–oo.” It’s simple, gentle, and acts like a vocal reset. I’ve seen it help many reconnect with their voice when things feel stiff, tired, or uncertain.
If you only have five minutes to warm up, start here.
