NASA has awarded nearly $600 million for four new commercial Moon missions launching by 2028.
Partnering with private companies, the missions will study lunar dust, measure space radiation, and test laser navigation technologies while expanding lunar infrastructure with new rovers and communication satellites. The goal is to support a permanent human presence on the Moon and prepare for future crewed missions to Mars.
