On this episode, the boys had on our good friend Taggart VanEtten! Taggart is the 100 mile world record holder on the treadmill and a 2:21 marathoner out of Morton, IL. We caught up on Taggart’s recent training/racing and what is next for him! He recently broke a long injury cycle, dealing with his low back. Currently, he is training at 80-90 mile weeks while incorporating a lot of Zwift cycling.
The back half of the episode we talked about some hot/relevant topics in running! This included if Josh Kerr or Sawe’s record was more impressive, what shoe we would wear if we could only wear one in a marathon build, and common mistakes in marathon training. Enjoy!
