Additional Canada Tariffs Halted
President Trump said Tuesday night he was delaying temporarily the 50% U.S. tariffs on $20 billion worth of Canadian imports after the two countries reached a last-minute deal an hour before the sanctions were to go into effect. America in the Morning’s Jeff McKay has details.

Two Penn State University fraternities are in deep trouble for making pledges participate in a drug trafficking scheme. As Lisa Dwyer reports, more than a dozen people have been arrested for transporting drugs over state lines to sell on campus.

Pennsylvania Data Center Rules
Pennsylvania will be taking a hard line against data centers, announcing significant restrictions on projects, including that any data center being built must pay for their own power. Sue Aller reports that other restrictions in the governor’s executive order include who they can hire,
and strict guidelines on water use.
South Korea Reacts To Scaled Back Maneuvers
South Korea is reacting to President Trump’s order to scale back annual joint exercises between the South Korean and American military. Correspondent Karen Chammas reports that the president’s decision was due in part to the South Korean government’s refusal to help in the fight against Iran and keep vital shipping lanes open.
Meta Goes To Court
Attorneys representing four states argued in court that Facebook and Instagram parent company Meta developed its products to hook young users on its platforms. Correspondent Kelvin Chan reports that Meta
is also being accused of harvesting the data of children under 13 to benefit
the tech giant.
Minnesota Sues Texas
Minnesota’s attorney general sued the governor of Texas on Tuesday, seeking to compel the extradition of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent charged with wounding a man and then lying to justify the shooting during the agency’s crackdown in Minneapolis.

President Donald Trump will nominate White House official Heidi Overton to be the next commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration.
