Victoria Aveyard, the renowned creator of the Red Queen series, is transitioning into adult fantasy with her upcoming book, Tempest. Although the novel is not scheduled for release until September 2026, the production company Chernin Entertainment has already secured the rights to develop it into a television series. This high-seas pirate adventure follows a former noblewoman navigating a world of political rebellion and personal conflict. The project will be executive produced by Aveyard alongside industry veterans Peter Chernin and Tracey Cook. This announcement highlights the author's continued commercial appeal, as her previous works have sold millions of copies and are also undergoing screen adaptations.
