In this episode, Derek (@CreaseAndAssist) and Theresa (@MNSOTA24), are joined by friend of the pod, Dan Whenesota (@WHENESOTA), to discuss his most recent creation, the story of the Midwest Sports Channel.

In this current age of multiple streaming services, sometimes combined with a cable or satellite subscription, many don't realize how far back the concept of dedicated regional sports broadcasting goes. Minnesota sports have a long (and sometimes tragic) history of creating a dedicated network to carry and cover all Minnesota sports. However, the current trend is if you're a multi sport fan, you need multiple streaming services just to catch your teams in action. People who cut the cord on expensive cable or satellite, are starting to find themselves carrying multiple subscriptions that are getting them closer to what they were paying cable and satellite companies. In Dan's blog, he breaks down the history and the legacy (and even ramifications) of the Midwest Sports Channel.
