The art project "When You Call My Name" honours the memory of 208 Japanese civilians buried at the Japanese War Cemetery in Cowra, New South Wales. Following an exhibition at the Australian National University in Canberra last year, the project will be presented again at Murdoch University in Perth on 29 August, marking the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Australia and Japan. We revisit our interviews with three people involved in the project, including one of its key figures, Mayu Kanamori.
