Jason and Rosie just got out of a packed early screening of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and their spoiler-free verdict is blunt: this might be the best Spider-Man movie yet. They dig into the chemistry between Tom Holland and Zendaya, Jon Bernthal's turn as the Punisher opposite Holland, and how the film leans into a lonelier, more down-on-his-luck Peter Parker than we've seen before. They also talk cinematography (shot on Kodak, colored by Tom Paul of Drive fame), hand out letter grades to the cast — including Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, and Mark Ruffalo — re-rank the Tom Holland trilogy, and throw out their box office predictions.
