What happens when the message you have spent years speaking over everyone else becomes the very thing you are struggling to believe for yourself?
For the host of a podcast called Created Worthy, I have spent a surprising amount of time quietly asking:
Am I even worthy?
Am I still worthy when I cannot produce what I used to produce?
Am I still worthy when my body, brain, appearance, capacity, and plans have all changed?
Am I still worthy when I am healing, behind, uncertain, and nowhere close to operating at 100%?
In this deeply honest solo episode, I am finally sharing where I have been, why Created Worthy has remained quiet, and why Season 6 has taken nearly two years to arrive.
After two car accidents in the fall of 2024 left me recovering from a traumatic brain injury, the abilities I had always depended on began to change. Screens became exhausting. Processing took longer. My memory became unpredictable. Most painfully, the words that had always come so naturally to me suddenly required an incredible amount of effort.
I kept waiting to wake up and feel like myself again.
I kept believing I could return once I was fully healed, fully confident, fully organized, and capable of doing everything the way I had before.
Then, after spending the entire year preparing for double jaw reconstruction surgery, the procedure was unexpectedly postponed because my surgeons need more space between my teeth to safely make the necessary cuts.
I was supposed to be recovering in a hospital bed when I recorded this episode.
Instead, I found myself sitting behind a microphone, realizing that maybe I do not need to wait until every part of my life is fixed before I begin again.
I am not returning with a perfect comeback story. My brain is still healing. Surgery is still ahead of me. My capacity is different. My life is still being rearranged, and there are still many unanswered questions.
But I am here.
And I am beginning to understand that being in process does not make us less worthy. Changed capacity does not erase our calling. Slowing down is not the same as giving up. We do not have to become who we used to be before we are allowed to take the next faithful step.
Maybe you need that reminder too.
You do not have to be fully healed to have something meaningful to give.
You do not have to be operating at 100% to be worthy of taking up space.
You do not have to wait until your life is perfectly organized before you begin again.
You are allowed to move forward as the person you are becoming.

These are stories from women whose lives did not unfold the way they planned, but who are discovering that their worth remains unchanged in every version of their story.
And apparently, the final few minutes are also filled with bloopers, teleprompter panic, braces, accidental spitting, and repeated requests to "cut that out."
You're welcome.
A REMINDER FOR YOU:
Your worth is not something you earn after you heal.
Your worth is not a reward for productivity.
Your worth is not lost when your capacity changes.
You were created worthy before the success, before the loss, before the diagnosis, before the divorce, before the breakthrough, before the comeback, before anyone applauded you, and before you ever proved anything at all.
You are still worthy in the healing.
You are still worthy in the waiting.
You are still worthy in the rebuilding.
You are still worthy in the unknown.
