In our summer series continuing with The Swans, we take a little journey this week into an adjacent story. Our focus this week is the beloved daughter of C.Z. Guest, Cornelia Guest. Cornelia was a whole entire scene in the 1980s, being the first celebutante. Bob Colacello writes all about Cornelia in 1988 in a delicious piece titled “A Deb Goes West” for Vanity Fair. Cornelia cannot get enough of Hollywood at this time with a new hair color and a new boyfriend too, Sylvester Stallone. The spiderwebs in this one are too many to count!
