Donald Trump reportedly left Turkey via a catering truck and boarded a military aircraft in secret following last month's NATO summit in Ankara, after US officials received intelligence about a potential threat from Iran.
According to reports in The New York Times and The Washington Post, even the journalists travelling with him believed the president was heading home on Air Force One, while a decoy aircraft was used to disguise his movements.
