Paul began his long career working for Roger Corman's lawyer Barbara Boyle and then the studio itself where he helped negotiate the deal for Corman's infamous Lumberyard Studio in Venice, California, where New World films like BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS and GALAXY OF TERROR were filmed! Paul's long history with the company leads us to talk about a wide variety of films, including CRIMES AND WHISPERS, THE PRIZE FIGHTER, HUMANOIDS FROM THE DEEP, and PIRANHA! When Corman sold New World to new ownership, Paul stayed on at New World where he was able to enjoy the success of ANGEL, meet Grace Jones during VAMP, and be the executive in charge in Paris while Robert Altman directed BEYOND THERAPY!
