In July of 2018, 25-year-old Danniella Vian met up with friends in Mobile, Alabama, excited to celebrate buying her first car. Later that night, Danniella realized that she’d lost her cell phone. One of the friends she’d met that night returned to the previous bar to look for Danniella’s phone, believing she was following him in her own car, but she never arrived. Ten months later, Danniella’s car was found submerged in water by a boat launch in a residential area, more than 20 minutes away from where she was headed that night. Her remains were found inside her vehicle. Danniella’s case remains open, but police have said publicly that they believe her death was a terrible accident. There are still many unanswered questions, strong suspicions, and inconsistencies surrounding Danniella’s death.
