9AM HOUR: Big Market Week: Bessent, Warsh and Earnings from Nvidia 8/24/26

David Faber and Jim Cramer led off the show with a report from CNBC that sent bond yields lower: Senior Treasury officials said the department could use its General Account to fund government bond buybacks. 

The anchors also set the stage for a busy market week ahead: Treasury Secretary Bessent's Monday news conference on U.S. plans for what he called "economic D-day" against Iran; Fed Chairman Warsh's upcoming keynote at the Fed symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Nvidia leads the earnings parade with quarterly results due out later in the week. U.S.-Canada trade talks fail: President Trump says tariffs on Canadian cars, trucks, auto parts and steel will increase to 50% effective January 1. Also in focus: Sandisk shares tumble; Why California's attorney general canceled its meeting with Paramount.
