The Rays drop their 3rd straight to the Orioles, losing 10-2. Despite the score this was a tight game for the first 5 innings with the Rays actually grabbing the lead. They would take the lead in the 4th inning on a solo homer by Ryan Vilade to make it 1-0. But the orioles offense would start to get going in the 5th inning. They would put up 3 runs in the 5th to take a 3-1 lead. The Orioles would then blow the game wide open in the 6th inning. The Orioles put up 7 runs in the 6th one of the worst innings the Rays have had all season to take a huge 10-1 lead. The Rays would score in the bottom of the 6th on a RBI single by Jorge Mateo but the Rays offense could not muster much as they continue to struggle scoring runs at home. The Rays will look to avoid a 4 game sweep tomorrow night vs the Orioles.
