Well, it’s another Doctor Doom episode of the 1981 cartoon… but is this show actually building a semi-serialized Doom story across multiple episodes?! After Doom traps Spider-Man underground, we get an extended flashback about Doom’s origins from the perspective of the Latverians he rules over, questioning if a tragedy in the past justifies being a huge jerk in the present. We talk about this very funny (but also fashy) J. Jonah Jameson simping over Doom, a strange writer identity mixup, and whether we should re-evaluate the entire Doom saga.
