Politicians love to say, "The only poll that counts is election day." In the last 24 hours, Wisconsin reminded us why that cliche actually matters. Last month, moderate Democrat David Crowley dropped out of the Badger State gubernatorial race. Today, he accepted his party's nomination for governor. Crowley's razor-thin victory - less than 4,000 votes - in a crucial swing state comes at the expense of Democratic Socialist Francesca Hong, who was hoping to ride the recent wave of progressive wins.
