In this tribute episode of "About Progress," I honor the legacy of my dear friend Carol Lynn Pearson. Her life spanned 86 years, during which she was a celebrated poet, playwright, and activist, prominently championing marginalized voices in the LGBTQ+ community within the LDS faith.
Reflecting on our friendship, a lingering regret remains with me: the times I allowed life’s challenges to pull me away from keeping in touch with her. Despite this, Carol Lynn’s unwavering forgiveness and wisdom continue to inspire me every day. I invite you to join me in celebrating her rich life and enduring impact as I share personal anecdotes and sing her song "I'll Walk With You," a testament to the love and companionship she so fervently embodied.
