Two rookie passers impressed this weekend with Fernando Mendoza looking good for the Las Vegas Raiders and Ty Simpson playing stellar for the Los Angeles Rams. It is good news for both teams, but Mendoza is clearly the Raiders best quarterback and should get the start sooner than later. Finally, Kyler Murray needs to play more for the Minnesota Vikings to be ready for the year and Deshaun Watson did not separate from Shedeur Sanders in the Cleveland Browns contest.
