Andrew Porwancher is a Chaplik Professor of Israel and Diaspora Studies at the University of Texas. He previously held fellowships at Harvard, Oxford, and Princeton, and earned his PhD at Cambridge. His book, The Jewish World of Alexander Hamilton, was published by Princeton and received the Journal of the American Book-of-the-Year Award.
