Ajahn Brahm discusses the Bahiya Sutta through the lens of various teachings across the Pali Canon, dispelling myths around the apparent ease with which Bahiya achieves Enlightenment by bringing out Bahiya’s full story and demonstrating through the Buddha’s own words that there are no shortcuts to Awakening. This teaching was given on a retreat during Ajahn Brahm’s visit to Anukampa in the UK.
