Erica and Marcela welcome **Mark Mitchell**, longtime pollster and former Director of Polling at Rasmussen Reports, who recently launched **The Honest Poll**.
We have questions. Lots of questions.
**Are polls real? Are they fake? How do they actually work?** Who gets polled? How do pollsters decide who is a “likely voter”? What happens when they weight the results? And just how much mischief can be accomplished before anyone technically has to call a poll “wrong”?
And then there’s one of Scott Adams’s favorite observations: **What about that roughly 25% of people who seem to be wrong about absolutely everything?** 😂 Mark may finally have some explaining to do on behalf of his profession.
We’ll also get Mark’s take on the upcoming primaries, what the numbers are telling him right now, what the media gets wrong about polling, and plenty more.
